I have been loving my Bullet Journal

The idea behind bullet journaling really probably goes back to middle school or elementary school doodling. It's so simple, but yet so calming.

With a house full of kids and a never ending to do list it's essential to FORCE myself to sit down and do something calming at LEAST once a day. Bullet journaling is almost like a little time warp back to a simpler time when the stresses of adulthood were not on your mind every moment.

Taking the time to doodle in a bullet journal and make pretty to do lists and schedules full of hearts and flowers reminds me of doodling in the margins of my notebooks trying to stay awake during class.

I absolutely could write the same lists in quick chicken scratch and call it done, but the whole point is to slow down and take a brain break.
